We had an airedale that bit Larry. Larry was eating a cookie and the dog went for the cookie. Took a plastic surgeon to fix his lip. Long story but the dog had to be put down a year or so later. Gosh we liked that dog, he was so protective and good companion. But he reacted, and airedales have a real clamp in their jaws. So sorry for you.
