I haven't the past couple of years for a couple of reasons (one, I wore it to school and nobody knew who I was, even after I told them and two, it's hard to drive in).

My costume is a simple huge skirt and hoops, so I'm a Southern Belle (namely Scarlett O'Hara). I have more elaborate dress patterns that someday I will make (like Scarlett's BBQ dress, and her dress from her mother's curtains, which takes about 15 yards of velvet!). I even made my husband a confederate officers coat. But unless we get invited to a party, we don't dress up.

But I still go trick or treating. hehe. I just carry my youngest and use his bag. When I first moved here, I didn't really know anyone, so I didn't know whose house was safe. Our church holds a Hallow Him festival, so we just did that instead.Becky Ghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10901212090175780900noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10997257.post-88453475842959211142007-11-01T16:05:00.000-05:002007-11-01T16:05:00.000-05:00I'm with Jesse, I really love the dressing up.
