I loved it too. But I don[t miss the hauling water and feed to the animals in the snow and ice.Bag Bloghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01885412195900280096noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10997257.post-10446918006624011462007-09-19T20:41:00.000-05:002007-09-19T20:41:00.000-05:00I love living in a state that we really get to exp...I love living in a state that we really get to experience all 4 seasons. I love the snow (we just had the first snowfall in the mountains) I just don't like to drive in it.

ShellyShellyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07615081729942748130noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10997257.post-57520293641467080922007-09-19T18:25:00.000-05:002007-09-19T18:25:00.000-05:00I wouldn't know about that snow stuff. We get an inch here and everybody rushes out to Wal-mart to stock up on bread, bottled water, and batteries.

I'm the kind who thinks that I'd love to live where it snows, but only if I could sit by the fire and knit all day! :)Becky Ghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10901212090175780900noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10997257.post-64389819796535667032007-09-19T14:40:00.000-05:002007-09-19T14:40:00.000-05:00Guess the plan to have the whole family in the mou...Guess the plan to have the whole family in the mountains in the summer and the warm south in the winter is to win the lottery so the whole family can retire together! :) That is our plan anyway.

JoJo Castillohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00411430042547033972noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10997257.post-61490935938974342022007-09-19T12:11:00.000-05:002007-09-19T12:11:00.000-05:00Yes, it would be great to live here - right up unt...Yes, it would be great to live here - right up until the big snows.

Agreed. I could say that about a lot of places I've lived, with the understanding that no one place is perfect...in an objective way. You can't tell a Californian that, though.

The thing about the Canadian prairie that got me (or: sticks in my memory) was you could always tell you were close to a town by the sight of the grain elevators off in the distance. I suppose that's true for the US, too, come to think on it.Buckhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05319116022465066060noreply@blogger.com
