Winter Storm
This picture was taken about 5:30 PM. This is the view out my living-room windows of the pond and field. It is snowing, blowing, and cold. Toby drove Jesse to work today so that I would not worry about her. They got off work this evening a little early because the weather was not getting better, but they said it was not too bad - "a little slick". I made etoufee (sp?) for supper while I listened to Christmas music. I let our outside dog, Rita, inside today. She has never been in the house and was rather confused, but adapted quickly. We are weathering the storm just fine. It is quite cozy in our little house. Come on by for some coffee.

I'll bring the snickerdoodles.
Oh my snickerdoodles, coffee, and great company, sounds like fun to me!!
We managed to dodge the worse part of this storm. The roads were fairly dry this morning. Although, my wife managed to find the one icy patch between our house and her work and put the car over the curb. The last thing I told her before she left this morning was watch out for patchy ice. Grrrrrr....
Thank you for this opportunity to vent a little. Now things tonight will go much better with her!
Dang, Lou...with the exception of the trees that looks just like the view outside my north-side window!
Yesterday would have been a great day for a koffee-klatch...
