Today is Adam's birthday, my other nephew.
I posted this photo of Adam and me taken at Leon Springs, TX, at a street dance on Memorial Weekend, 1983, on FB. It is one of my favorite photos. Where ever did I get that visor? We worked on the yard getting ready for the party. It was a perfect day and evening for being outside. There was a cool breeze for most of the day, although it got pretty warm in the afternoon. The patio shade was still nice. After chicken fried steak with gravy and mashed potatoes for Jesse's birthday supper (her choice)
The GGs had a grand time.
It was a long, full, day. People drifted off as the evening went on, but the last guests left about 11 PM. That was after cake, ice cream, strawberries were eaten, and some new funky beer was tasted. I stuck to my infamous nectarine daiquiris. I also did not taste Shay's grilled snake. I did allow a tarantula in a jar to be left in my house overnight. I must be getting soft in my old age.
A fun time was had by all. I hope we can do it again next week for Bo's birthday.

What a great time... and great pics. You have a wonderful family, Lou.
Thanks, Buck, You are invited anytime.
Happy Birthday, Jesse!
September and October are our big birthday months. So far, we only have one June-- my brother Scott.
Funny how certain months are more popular in different families!
Happy Belated Birthday to Jesse! Wow sounds like an extraordinary day! Lots of fun.
