Out of the Mouth of GBN2
On my table is a Christmas centerpiece. It is mostly greenery with fake snow and sleigh bells. Several times today GBN2 was caught picking at the snow. At supper she was not fond of her food so she began to pick at the fake snow and jingling the bells. I told her to stop - that it was not a toy to be played with. She said, "I know. It is decoration. It should be called the Decoration of Independence."

How do you not die laughing every time she says something? I know you don't want to encourage her per se, but she's hilarious!
Ah, I love this!
She was dead on serious, if not a bit smarty when she said it. I did keep a straight face (tuff as it was), because she was already in trouble for not eating what was put before her. For some reason, the two of us tend to fight a bit.
Gene would have loved it. It was almost as good as her not being able to do sign language because her mouth was full.
