I am still in a bit of a funk. At least the weather has been better than last week. It helps me to get out to the barn and do some pottery. Yesterday I did the grocery shopping very early in the morning. Walmart has slowed down a bit - I was able to park a little closer in, and I did not have to stand in line to get in. The rebel in me did not wear a mask. Then I went by the CTAC gallery and let my self in to pick up the student art work that should have been picked up at the end of March. Due to the isolation, the CTAC had to cancel the April show and the student show from March was still up. After picking up the art, I texted my principal lady to see if I could deliver the student's art to the school. My principal said that she would check with someone else and get back to me. A few minutes later, she texted that I could deliver the art to the school (I have my own key to the door to my building) but added that the code to the alarm was****. I texted, "What alarm?" She texted the where-abouts of the alarm. But when I got there, I had trouble getting in and setting the art down. Then I could not figure out how to get the alarm open to get to the keypad. Argh! I ended up setting the alarm off. So, I texted my principal and let her know. She texted back, "Try the code again." Duh! Like I didn't try everything I could think of - twice! She said someone was on the way. Since I was sure they didn't need me, I hightailed it out of there feeling rather silly. Before I left town, I stopped by Pick of the Day flower shop. Flowers may not be essential in some areas, but they are here in Duncan. I bought $50 worth of flowers to plant in pots all around my house.
After all the above stuff, I was home by 9:30 and headed out to the barn to throw a pot or two. Then I planted my plants and did laundry. I fixed supper for Toby when he got home, and we went back out to the barn to finish up some pottery - putting handles on cups and such. Toby threw a big cylinder-type pot and then managed to throw a lid for the pot. It shows that you can teach an old dog a new trick.
Today, well, I haven't done as much. I did work on pottery for a couple of hours. I aired up my bike tires and rode a very little way. The wind is blowing pretty hard today - my excuse for not going very far. It sounds like I'm doing lots, but not really. I would like to be painting, but I can't seem to make myself get going. Maybe tomorrow. Here is a nice photo that I took on the way to town early yesterday morning

Sounds like a busy day to me! Funny about the alarm.
The photo is beautiful.. We had clouds all day again, supposed to have sun and get in the high 80s tomorrow. Not sure I’m ready for that.
Jesse has been wanting to paint clouds, so I've been more observant.
How about the cartoon clouds from The Wizard of OZ? :-)
