This is a picture from the Duncan Banner taken last night. Highway 81 is the main street (four lanes and an median) through Duncan. It was closed in several places due to flooding. It rained hard all night long even after this picture was taken. Our pond is full and over flowing. Amazing stuff. Hopefully we can get out our driveway - a mudin' we will go.

Wow. Brings new meaning to the ol' cliche: "when it rains, it pours." (OK, that's the Morton Salt ad...not a cliche.)
Your pond is quite a ways away from the house, right? As in you're in no danger of being inundated?
We built our house on the top of the hill so we have no problems with flooding although there are several wash areas that show up in times of rain. Eventually they become gullies (okie talk for arroyos) and will require some work.
