Toby is out on the tractor moving hay and scraping the driveway/road to our house. The road was a mess after all the rain a few weeks back. We took hay to the neighbors which consists of picking up large round bales with the tractor, backing the bale up to the trailer and rolling it on to the trailer and hauling it down the road - little things to do before we leave. It has been warm here yesterday and today, but the wind has been a son-of-a-gun. Things that blew down to the pond when the wind was from the north, are now back in the yard. I'm glad for the warm weather, because it has been down-right cold here, but I could live without the gusting wind.
We also went to breakfast with the Grand Babies. Jesse said she always likes having breakfast with the circus. Afterwards, we picked up the rental car for tomorrow's trip to OKC. We also bought lots of horse feed and dog food, so that Jesse would not have to buy it later. There is much more to do. I should be packing, but as you can see, I'm not. Sitting at the computer is my idea of resting, but I must get a move-on.

So THAT's where you were when we came by this morning! Oh well, Zoe got a self guided tour of the front seat of the Tacoma, and the Royal Court got to get licked while they petted her. Have an absolutely fantastic time in the motherland. We'll miss y'all. Please drink a GOOD Guinness for me.
I know this is Irish but...

Warm and windy here, too. It's supposed to be 71 today, but the wind will make that rather idyllic temperature much less than it should be.
Still and even, I'm thinking of going for a ride today.
Be careful on your way over to Scotland...and raise a glass of single-malt for me once you get there! Speaking of which...do try and take in a distillery tour, Lou. There are LOTS of 'em in the area where you're going and the tours are fascinating. Free drinks at the end, too! ;-)

This is my first visit to your blog, so I have some reading to do.

You looked a bit excited, full of anticipation this morning, I am happy for you! and asking the Lord to protect, sustain and fill you full of Himself during your absence.
Have an awesome time. We look forward to checking in on you during the next few weeks, (and selfishly can't wait till you are home :)
Well, I woke up this morning and started checking blogs I normally read and the news. By this time, you are flying across the ocean and hopefully having fun.
