13 Impressionist, -10 Islamic, -11 Ukiyo-e, 1 Cubist, 2 Abstract and -27 Renaissance!
Impressionism is a movement in French painting, sometimes called optical realism because of its almost scientific interest in the actual visual experience and effect of light and movement on appearance of objects. Impressionist paintings are balanced, use colored shadows, use pure color, broken brushstrokes, thick paint, and scenes from everyday life or nature.
People that like Impressionist paintings may not alway be what is deemed socially acceptable. They tend to move on their own path without always worrying that it may be offensive to others. They value friendships but because they also value honesty tend to have a few really good friends. They do not, however, like people that are rude and do not appreciate the ideas of others. They are secure enough in themselves that they can listen to the ideas of other people without it affecting their own final decisions. The world for them is not black and white but more in shades of grey and muted colors. They like things to be aestically pleasing, not stark and sharp. There are many ways to view things, and the impresssionist personality views the world from many different aspects. They enjoy life and try to keep a realistic viewpoint of things, but are not very open to new experiences. If they are content in their live they will be more than likely pleased to keep things just the way they are.

Ummm...went to take the test and it wasn't there.
Inpassing, I added a link that may get you to the quiz.
Hmm, I got the same final result as you but different breakdown:
18 Impressionist, 4 Islamic, -5 Ukiyo-e, -25 Cubist, -14 Abstract and -2 Renaissance!
But then I think I sometimes chose on how much I liked the topic of the painting and not just the style of it, or the colors, or.... sometimes I didn't really like any of the three choices on a page.
What FUN! And I most certainly WILL steal this!
My results:
Balanced, Secure, and Realistic.
29 Impressionist, 16 Islamic, 17 Ukiyo-e, -22 Cubist, -23 Abstract and 1 Renaissance!
and...
# You scored 29 on Impressionist, higher than 100% of your peers.
# 86/100 You scored 16 on Islamic, higher than 86% of your peers.
# 85/100 You scored 17 on Ukiyo-e, higher than 85% of your peers.
# 24/100 You scored -22 on Cubist, higher than 24% of your peers.
# 25/100 You scored -23 on Abstract, higher than 25% of your peers.
# 53/100 You scored 1 on Renaissance, higher than 53% of your peers.
That scoring kinda flummoxes me. How can I be 24% higher than my peers on "Cubist" if I scored a MINUS 22?
But, that said... I'd have been really disappointed if the results had been anything other than what they were, vis-a-vis the Impressionists. But I DO like Ukiyo-e... a LOT. It's that "Japan" thing at play...
I had fun taking the test, but then in the end I saw you had to register, and I don't do that at any site I don't know. (Been burned a few times doing that)
Anyway, I must be either unappreciative of a lot of art, or really dumb but I found I didn't like much of any of it. I had to hold my nose and make a choice on a few pages where I hated it all.
I guess I am not very much into classical kind of art. I like the simple realistic works of art that look like what they are depicting. Is there a name for that?
Fun!! I am taking this for my post tomorrow :)
