This morning I told Toby that I was going to need to make a trip to WF and Sam's Club sometime this week. He responded by grabbing the Harbor Freight flier to see if he needed me to pick up any new tools. While perusing the ads, he saw, "rat zapper ultra." He looked up at me and said, "Sometimes I feel like Wylie Coyote."
We watched the TT v UT game last night. It was so exciting that I could not crochet or read my book - I was glued to the TV. All I can say is Go Tech!

Was that just about the coolest college football game of the year so far?

I am a Kansas fan, so I didn't have a dog in the fight and didn't care which team won (sorry, Tech fans!) but it was pretty exciting .. and Tech did themselves proud beating the Longhorns.

Tech won? Wow!!! Isn't that one of the signs of the Apocalypse -- the Red Horse I think.

Yep. That was MOST definitely a "game for the ages." In Lubbock, anyway!! I was glued to the toob, too... and had to watch SportsCenter twice before I could get to sleep...

Toby's pretty funny with his Wylie Coyote remark!

Couldn't believe the game. I was at the Pow Wow and they announced the first score. Yuck. Ha. Listened to the end on the way home. You would be happy. Sigh. Hook 'em Horns!

Jo, I thought about you while watching the game. I'm happy tht TT won, but I knew you would be disappointed. It was an amazing game and both teams were excellent.

Bob, I think it is a red raider on a black horse - Is that some sort of sign?

Buck, I'm glad you noticed that I live with a comedian. Next weeks game with TT and OSU should be interesting, too.

Sharon, it was about the coolest game I have seen in a while.

That was a great game. I'm not that much of a football fanatic, but I'm glad I watched that one till the end.

Ya gotta love anyone that recognizes their inner Wylie Coyote.

I am glad the OU game was a run away, left me free to go watch the Texas game, It was the best game I have seen in awhile. I was proud of TT, but next week I will have to root for OSU.

So does that make you the Road Runner ??????? BEEP BEEP

I was always one to be in Wyle E.'s corner. That RR always got on my nerves with his feigned friendly smugness, plus when you see the one where Wyle E. breaks down WHY he wants to eat the bird...you get it.

OK i'll admit...after leaving the trip to the woodshed we owed NEB, we found a widescreen with a beer tent attached where we with thousands of other scattered Soonerfans watched in hopeful anticipation that Tech could actually pull it off and give us a chance. As much as i don't like Tech...they sure are fun to watch...and i came to realize its not Tech per se, its just the stigma i've attached to them over the highly suspect calls the past couple years in Lubbock. Of course, now they are on the radar and i just want to beat the snot out of them in two weeks...but thankyou for now.

Hey, for us Sooner fans we need Tech to beat OSU, believe it or not. Then we need to beat both TT and OSU. Then we may have a chance if LSU beats Bama and Penn State falls.
