I'm off to the deaf women's conference today. I leave you with the watercolor done on Wed. My art buddies set this still life up for us to paint. Normally I paint from photographs. This real life stuff is a challenge. Sometimes I like part of my painting, but wish I could cut other parts out. I would probably cut out the egg.

Very nice, as always. Is that a Fabergé egg? ;-)
Have fun and don't work too hard this weekend!
It's beautiful! Even the egg.
As to yesterday's post...the yellow Camero was pretty good when it was not covered with "Levelland Highway Mud" and I had a English class with Toby and discovered for myself just how VERY smart he is...how blessed we are to have learned what a wonderful man he is!!! PS Blaine fixed my kitchen computer
I like the egg it adds some nicely done contrast!! The whole picture really caught my attention.
This is lovely. Painting from life sure makes you "look" doesn't it? Good for you!
Jo, painting from life is a bit intimidating, but great practice.
Dawn, I thought the egg was a mess, but thanks.
Anny, Yeah Blaine! The Camero stunk for weeks after the Levelland Hwy episode. I married him anyway.
Buck, those are carved and painted wooden eggs from my friend's travels in the Middle East or India, or Malaysia.
Thanks Becky.
