Wedding Photos

Lindz gave me some photos of her wedding. The photos are just beautiful - Lindz is just glowing. Notice how beautiful her dress is - or maybe it is just her. I chose these two photos. The first one is Lindz and Shay stopping to kiss as they walked back down the aisle. You can see how she used all her bridesmaids and groomsmen as backdrop for the wedding. Notice her cousin and brother doing a nice high-five in the background. The second photo is Toby and Lindz walking down the aisle. Lindz had several men from our church who were significant in her life to walk her down the aisle. They each took a few steps and handed her off to the next man. I just love the way she is giggling. The last photo is one of the whole wedding party and all that attended the wedding. You can see Jesse down front as one of the bridesmaids in green. Toby and I are way back in the back. It was just a cool way to photograph the wedding.

Lou, these are awesome! I especially like the last one of everyone.... It's been a long time since I've been to a traditional wedding. I think the girls look lovely in the photos.

The last photo is one of the whole wedding party...

I've been around the block a few times and this is the first time I've seen a wedding photo like that... VERY cool. ALL the photos are great!

Beautiful wedding. Love the colors. The Brides dress is lovely and I love the amber/topaz color sash on her dress...it goes really well with her hair color. Loved the way the "wedding party" is incorporated into the wedding photos.

How ever did the photographer wrangle everyone together for that group photo! Gives me ideas....hmmmm.

Catherine, It was as simple as the preacher announcing after the ceremony that everyone was to move toward the center of the room for a photo of the crowd. The photographer is a good friend of mine and does an excellent job on photos.

Anny, the dress was to die for and the colors were gorgeous. That dress was a special designer dress that the material alone cost over $600. Lindz got it for less than $300. You and Sandra would have been proud.

Buck, It was an amazing crowd;)

Fire Fox, If you have not been to a tradional wedding, what kind do you usually see?

Joyce, It was a very special wedding. I have married off a son, but I look forward to marrying off Jesse some day so that I get to be a part of everything.

Lou, the last two weddings I attended were at a JOP and on the beach. I do remember attending one traditional ceremony back in 1983? I was a stand in for a bridesmaid and didn't even really know the bride!

Darn. I made a long post yesterday and somehow it got lost.

Anyway....I LOVED the wedding pictures. Very cool staging in the first one -- with the wedding party in the background. BUT ... for me the bride and groom were not the focus -- my eye went directly to the two giving the high five in the back. Very funny.

I LOVED the group picture! Like Buck, I have never seen anything like that done before at a wedding -- it's just fantastic. (We did a picture like that at my grand-daughter's baptism in Argentina - with the whole crowd standing in the church doorway and it is a favorite of mine. But there were only 50 or 60 people and not the much larger crowd like the wedding picture.)

Thanks for sharing the pictures!
