Go Figure

We laugh at this GBN2 story and use her words which were so puhfect. While eating out at the Chuckwagon with her family, GBN2 insisted on ordering the same food as her big sister. Big sister had ordered beans and rice. When her mother pointed out to GBN2 that she did not like beans and rice and should order the chicken strips basket, she refused - insisting on the same thing her sister had ordered. Fine. When the ordered food came to the table, GBN2 looked at her beans and rice with great disappointment. Aunt Jes pointed out to her that the beans and rice are what her sister had ordered and, therefore, what she had ordered. GBN2 looked at the beans and rice with disgust and said, "Yeah, but then I fig-yud it out."

It is amazing how much the words "figure it out" come up. I've been hanging out on Pinterest, which has some very interesting ideas, crafts, art, photos, sayings, etc. But I was not sure how to go to the site where you learn the craft or find the recipe or see where to buy the fashion. While sitting with my laptop, I asked Jesse to help me. Her reply, "Fig-yu it out!" Thanks Jes. So I managed to get an "invite" and now I can "pin" something on "my board," but I still have no idea what the heck I'm doing.

Life would be so much easier if someone just did all the work for me.

Oh, I need someone to fig-yu it out, too! So many new things and needs. Sigh.... I think I got an invite to Pinterest. I'm going to check it out now. Thanks for the reminder. Not much else to do, eh??

But much less interesting, no?

Moogie,
So many people told me how great Pinterest was, and I do like looking. But I'm not sure if "great" is the word.

Buck,
That's a great way of looking at life. It is also true that you often learn more from doing things yourself. I haven't blown my computer up, yet.

I'm still fairly new to it myself, but I'm enjoying finding new things.

Heh! That's precious...I fig-yud it out...

Lou, as to the post below, I love the painting (as always). When I looked at it, I thought, "Great Sympathy Card."

Hope that doesn't offend...but something about it just seemed comforting, and "hopeful."

Andy,
Everyone sees art with a different eye. I find it interesting to hear what other people think. I once had an art teacher who said, "If it makes you happy, paint it." But I thought it was more important to make other people happy with my painting.
