Yes! We have puddles! It rained most of the day yesterday and was a bit chilly. Then we got a bit more rain about 6 AM. There is water standing in the pasture. Halleluiah!
With the rain and cold temps, I built a fire yesterday and invited the dogs into the house. They were quite lazy. I wanted to get some pics of Max to show you how he has grown. Here he is looking quite handsome. Jack the Red Heeler, whom I sometimes call Handsome Jack, did not cooperate in this photo. Why is there always someone who closes their eyes?
I did manage to get one photo with all three dogs. Being close to the camera, Ranger looks huge. Please do not say anything about his weight; we are both touchy on the subject.
Max is not allowed on the couch, but I caught him there and took this pic. This is one of his favorite sleeping positions. Since he is now 7 months old, I will be taking him to the vet today to be "fixed." Things in this photo will be forever altered tomorrow.
Max was a bit restless last night - probably because he slept all day. Because he was not suppose to eat or drink after a certain time, I had to keep him in the house last night, too. He prowled all night. He got into several things - I found gloves, hats, paintbrushes, ponytail holders, etc. all over the house this morning. Although he is not allowed on the bed, he often comes and puts his head beside me. I usually pet him or get up to put him out. It is rather sweet, but sometimes he puts his cold nose to my back. It is a good thang I love that dog.

Max sure is BIG.
My puppies were allowed almost everywhere, including our bed. It got kinda crowded at times, what with a German Shepard, a Lab, a terrier, Paula, and me, but everyone pretty much had their space.
Ah. Former Happy Days. (sigh)
The couch was recently re-covered. It already smells a bit like a big dog. You can tell by the photo how tough I am on Max.
Hmmmmm. They all look like nice puppies. :-)
I'm glad you got some rain. If I could send you some of ours, I would in a heartbeat. I'm so tired of dealing in ankle deep mud.
The dogs are rather handsome.
Thanks, Becky. Anytime you want to send rain, we will take it.
