Sitting in the Sunshine
This is my latest work in progress. It is from a photo taken of my parents sitting outside the restaurant in Chimayo, NM. Mom and Dad loved to make a day trip down the high road towards Santa Fe to Chimayo to eat. Dad always had to smoke a cigarette, so we were sitting outside.

I love the colors Lou! The flowers are a nice touch too... and the yellow from your Mom's blouse stands out nicely!
This painting tells such a lovely story. I just love it!
Thanks Alison. I may have embellished the flowers a bit, but Mom's blouse was bright yellow.
It is not really an interesting photo or painting, but it is a good memory moment for me.
