You remember that creature of habit thing I posted on recently? Well, the schedule has been thrown out the window again. GBN3 - the Boy - was admitted back into the hospital because his biliruvin count (jaundice) is high. He is to stay under lights for a couple of days. In the meantime, other thangs have gone haywire. The gist of the story is that I have the GGs for now. Bo and Sara are at the hospital with GBN3. Nana, the other grandmother, has been doing all sorts of super-grandma feats - from taking care of the GGs to taking care of the parents. My tutoring has been put on hold. Tomorrow I need to be in WF to take Mom to the eye doctor for some procedure - that is a whole nuther story. It really has been interesting to figure out how to get done the usual things as well as the unusual. We Baggetts are one-step-at-a-time sort of people. Long range planning or worrying is not our strong suit. My theory is that it will all work out one way or the other. If things go awry, I will deal with it as it comes. Maybe I'm kind of simple minded.
Last night I set up the Princes tent in my bedroom with lots of blankets for padding, and GBN1 slept there. GBN2 slept with me. We had a good night, except for the few times I had to get
GBN2's feet out of my face. How does that happen? This morning we cooked sweet rolls in the waffle maker - always a treat, but hard on my diet. Now we are waiting - watching cartoons and playing on the Kindle - until it is warm enough to go outside. The walkie-talkies are juiced up and ready for action. The dirt hill is waiting on climbers.
Last week I posted a pic of Jesse's painting assignment - painting a fellow art student. Here is the student she painted and the painting he did of her. Keep in mind that the teacher encourages the students to make their art funky - not realistic. I await your thoughts.

Wish I could help you, although I'm no good with kids anymore. Ha. Love Jesse's portrait. Interesting how artists always look so serious when they are the models. :)
Busy, busy, busy!
As for the painting... that does NOT look like Jesse.
Yep, babies have a way of throwing our schedules completely out of whack.
Hmm, I think the only part of that painting that is your daughter, is maybe the right index finger... :-)
Jesse said she was trying to be normal. I said, "That is funny 'cause you look like you are going to kick somebody's butt."
Definitely funky.
I thinkh we may have turned a corner yesterday and may be heading back to some sort of normalcy.
Jesse lol at your comment.
I didn't say anything on Jesse's FB page in the event the painter was her FB friend, but it looks NOTHING like her. She is such a beautiful young woman and you would think she was the 5th Golden Girl from this interpretation. Dislike!
It captures something of her, but does not look like her. That is the funky part, I guess.
