Barn Raising

This is how it looked at lunch today. The barn got finished and everyone got fed. Yeha! Three burgers were left over, many hot dogs were left, and only three cats left. Another yeha! By the way, In the group picture that is Toby standing on the far right in the overalls and farmer hat. Bo is close by in a similar hat, sunglasses and camo pants. The Friendly Neighborhood Piper is on the front row (left) with another similar hat. Notice the geese in the last picture. Jesse looks furioso in the second picture. When she was little, we often said she could kill with one of her looks.

Wow, y'all had quite the crowd, Lou! Congrats on getting the barn finished, as Becky said.

And Happy Mothers Day!

MamaLou,

i can't tell you the last time i had more fun working that hard! It was great being there! Those men are FANTASTICO!! GRAZIE MILLE!!! or i suppose the more Okie Italiano IRREGOLARITA DEL FONDO STRADALE! for all the good eats!!! For everyone else reading this (ok yeah, i'm a foodie) there was the aforementioned burgers and dogs, but she forgot to mention the HUGE chili's she had grilled for the burgers with more condiments than Burger King, all the tortillas, 3 kinds of potato salad, a mammoth tin of baked beans, and a veritable smorgasbord of desserts, i had about 5 brownies and a scoop of this strawberry kiwi mousse thing that was...well its just too bad you all couldn't have been there! I thought about going back to work after lunch but there was no wheelbarrow available to roll me back over to the barn, and someone had already stolen the 4wheeler. So i crawled over to my car and left. On the way home i remembered that i had a PC meeting that morning...and i thought, "Gee, i wonder...PC meeting/barn raisin/PC meeting/barn raisin..." there was really no decision before or after, the barn raisin' was by far the better of time well spent. ThankYOU! to all those living at the Lazy B for letting us be involved in your lives and take part in such a memorable event.
