Calgary Zoo

We spent most of Sunday at the Calgary Zoo. The zoo was great. It was a beautiful day and lots of people were out. I got to see more of the "commom" folk as opposed to the "downtown" folk. Still, there were lots of cleavage on the women and different body piercings and odd hair and such. We did not see many tattoos because those folks were at the tattoo festival. Toby and I had been wondering why we were seeing so many people around Calgary with huge tattoos. I'm sorry we missed the festival. The zoo animals were probably more fun anyway. I took lots of pictures at the zoo, but the elephant picture was especially funny - looks like a "Push me Pull you". I also loved watching the kids playing with the otter. One kid was dragging a quarter around on the glass and the otter was chasing it - much to the delight of all the other kids. On Saturday we spent some time in Kensington walking around the neighborhood taking pictures of these wonderful homes. I have lots more photos of the houses, too. I will post more from both excursions. Right now, I am worn out from walking so much.

Hi, the elephants are cool. We went to the Catwalk in Glenwood, NM, today and had too much sun and wine ourselves.

Seems like you are enjoying. We always had fun in CA.

Later,
Jo
