Kaboom to Kerplunk and Other Links

Many of you know that I was a big fan of the milblog, Kaboom, written by Matt Gallagher (Lt.G) a few years ago. His cast of characters and stories were riveting. He had quite the following in the blog-o-sphere. Even Jesse was hooked on reading Kaboom every day. Then the higher-ups in the military circles shut down the blog. Fortunately, his blog was saved and now Matt has published a book based on his time in Iraq. He also has a new blog, Kerplunk. Today, he had an interesting post on Ken Babbs and his writings with links to Ken's blog, Skypilot. I think it is worth the look.

This is a painting that I did from a photo off of Kaboom of Sgt. Bulldog. The painting is one of the cards that can now be bought from Soldiers’ Angels.
