Tis the Season

I don’t really have much blog worthy material today, but I wanted to let you weather watchers know that we did not get the bad storms that other parts of OK got last night. We did get wind, rain and hail, but the storms blew on past pretty quick. We were headed to Velma when we heard reports of the coming storm and possible baseball size hail. We skedaddled home and put the truck in the barn. Sure enough we got some hail, but it was not so bad. About 10 miles north of us got some high winds or a possible tornado which downed power lines and a bit further north still there were overturned vehicles and such. Further north and east had some serious tornadoes. All is well at the Lazy B. Bliss posted a photo of a tornado near her OKie home.

It's all over our news here, so I had to check on you.

Glad you and yours are ok.

Take care,

We had a window broken by the hail. The hail stone was large enough it covered the palm of my hand.

Glad you're safe. Yesterday's winds were hellish here, but only in the sense they were annoying... there was no real damage.
