Toby is home this morning to do some block work while the day is cool. Guess who his number one hand is? Yep, I'm off to do some cement work. I'll report back later.

After mentioning "cement work," in the comments this morning, Buck wrote, " Brings new meaning to the ol' "a woman's work is never done" saw. ;-)"
That reminded me of a conversation with Toby just a day ago.
Me: What do you want to work on today?
Toby: We could do the cement work.
Me: We could paint the Adirondack chairs.
Toby: Painting is women’s work.
Me: So why am I helping with the cement work.
Toby: ‘Cause you love me.
Me: Sounds to me like you are painting yourself into a corner.
Toby: Nope. I’m not painting today.
