My Thursday "Painting with Lou" at the Art Center went well. I had seven students this time. Most were doing watercolor, but a few did oils. I did an oil of the same angel boy in previous post. I just wanted to see what oils would do for the painting. This painting still needs some work. His hair and beard are not finished, and he needs some tweaking. I like the pastel much better. For whatever reason, I am just much looser in color and style with pastels. We are off to Lubbock to sort through my MIL's house. Be back soon.

I am a fan of the pastel .... of course. Hope your trip goes well and not too stressful. We will be here waiting.....
