Upholstery

Some of my buddies and me are taking an upholstery class. Yes, we have lost our minds. Last night was our first night, and it was work. Fortunately, we have the right tools and lots of laughter. Today we are headed to The City to buy more tools and more material, and of course, have lunch.

You know you are an Okie when you start dropping the L's in your words - like cold becomes code; told becomes toed, etc. Well, every time I have typed out upholstery, spell check gives me the WRONG sign. Seems I keep dropping the L. So what does that say about me?

So what does that say about me?

That you need a spelling class, too?

Oh,my! Guess Buck is right, surely you aren't an Okie now. Great to try the new stuff!

Love the Old Overcoat story. Gene made up with my Dad in about the same way!

You always stir up the memories. We may see you soon. I'll send you an e- mail.

Buck,
I definitely need spelling classes. There is something about saying "upholstery" that makes me want to talk like Foghorn Leghorn.

Jo,
From what you have told me about your dad, I can see him and Gene getting along pretty good.

An upholstery class sounds fun. I've got some furniture that needs reupholstering, too. Wanna come to Mississippi?

Becky,
So far, all I have learned is how to tear something up. I'm pretty good at that.

Oh, well, I have a cat for that. Thanks anyway.
