Summer Art 2

Things got a bit busy yesterday.  I kept the GGs for several hours. We went to lunch and then to Wal-Mart.  As Toby has said, it was like shopping with coons.  They wanted to come home with me, but I told them I was much too busy getting ready for Jesse's birthday party (scheduled for this afternoon).  They assured me they would be lots of help.  Yeah right.  Everything that should have taken just a few minutes, took three times as long with them.  Just getting in and out of the car was an ordeal.  After dropping them back at their own home, I made it home with my groceries and was dog tired.  Turns out my dog had had a little doggie fit and shredded the Dacron on the chairs I was covering.  I threw a  fit at that point and beat the dog and kicked him out.  Then the kitten came in and ran across my new couch with his tiny claws, so I beat him too.  My Summer Art time turned into "re-do the chairs" time.  I thought I might actually get one chair finished and take a picture of it for my art, but what should have taken a little time turned into big time wrestling match.  The new material is a bit different and did not smooth as easily as what I was used to.  Before bed last night, after I gave up on the chair, I drew a cartoon of me wrestling my chair.  Silly, huh!

I think I may have the bear all this week.

Cute cartoon! And yes, I totally understand why you would beat the animals.

Becky, "my beatings" aren't really so bad. It is that my animals are so spoiled, when they do get in trouble, they think it is bad.

Oh, I understand. When I "beat my dogs to within an inch of their lives", it's usually a light pop on the rump.
