The GGs were here all day yesterday. It was a wild, fun day. Since it rained and we could not go swimming, we painted. This is what I painted. It really needed more attention to detail than I was able to give it while watching the GGs. Maybe I will redo it at another time. They say Monet did paintings over and over. You can only get better each time.

Looks good to me, but ya gotta consider the source. You mentioned Monet... who's right up there with Seurat as my two favorite old dead painters. You're my fave when it comes to the living.

When you create something you like or passion it will have a good result.Just like these painting that have a reflection which seems looks true.
