That is Tanya Lewis on the palomino with the American flag. That is my son, Bo, on the buckskin with the NM flag. They both came galloping into the arena, separated, and rode down each side to cross at the other end, and then rode back to the middle to present the flags. They did this at breakneck speed. It always took my breath away - not because it was so patriotic, but because it scared the heck out of me when they crossed. I once asked Bo if he and Tanya planned on who would ride to the inside and who would ride to the outside when they crossed. He told me, "Nope. No plan." But it was an awesome sight.
