Hot Time in the Summer

My DIL asked me to go to a little girl's birthday/swim party on Tuesday to help watch the GGs.  Hmm, play in the water with my GGs and lots of other gigglers? You bet!  I have to admit that I did give some bucking bronc rides in the water with little girls on my back. I also acted like a spring board and let little girls jump off me (giving them an extra boost to make it fun) and won several chicken fights with a little girl on my shoulders.  I am the best Booboo ever!

It was 111 by the time the party was over, and I thought I might melt.  When I went to town on Wed to run some errands and have lunch with Toby (we planned on eating at the Chick-fil-a at the hospital, but it was packed), it was 113.  Why did I leave the mountains?

All y'all are a LOT hotter than we are. A LOT.

You are an awesome BooBoo! You'll be the fun grandmother that everyone talks about in that "I wish MY grandmother was like THAT," kind of way.

Apparently, there was a HUGE political demonstration at Chick-Fil-A's across the US yesterday. Sarah and Travis were in the Duncan Banner and Sarah got quoted!

Sarah's quote is probably worth looking up. She is a bit like her Ninnie (sp?). We went by the hospital, but could not find a parking place - crazy.

What's with the "y'all" thang? No one is as hot as me.

I always liked swimming with you in the pool.

That makes me smile.

Heh. Point taken.

I don't eat chicken in restaurants, but I'm tempted to visit Chick-Fi-A. :) Your swim sounds like fun and the 113 was in your area. Wow! I feel for you. That is why we leave here on Wednesday for a while.

Swimming sounds fun, but the pool here is membership only. I just don't want to swim in that nasty ol lake.
