Run Turkey Run

We had a great Thanksgiving. It started off with our country neighbors and a 5K.  Approximately 50 people ran/walked the course, which meandered down the road, through the hay pasture, over the pond dam, down the creek-bed, through the broomstick grass, and back to the neighbor's.  The Start:My family milling about before the start  The Grandmothers
Me starting last (I was busy, Okay!) catching up to Toby and GBN1. Jesse and the always smile.
The Finish:
The nephews won

My brother pulling a Chevy Chase for laughs Jesse and GBN2
Toby

Me and GBN2 and friend. Yep, The grand-babies would rather ride in the mule than walk. Toby and Jesse showing their finish metals.
After we passed out the door prizes and ate some carbs, we went home to eat more.

Good on y'all, Lou!

Seems like a great time was had by all.

Personally, I get worn out driving the 3.1 miles to work.

Sigh.

Buck and Andy,
As I told GBN2, who was whining about the long walk, if Fat Booboo can do it, anyone can.

Way too much energy shown. I soaked in my bubble bath instead. Oh darn, out of wine...

I could use a good soaking myself.
