Banquets

It was a banquet weekend. In my last post, I mentioned shopping with Jesse for fancy dresses. Well, she took Mom to Amarillo to some sort of presentation/ball for my 18 year old niece.  A great time was had by all. So far, these are the only photos I have received and I had to steal them off FB.
Here is my beautiful niece. Here is Jesse and Mom. Apparently there was some sort of photo booth. Mom and Jesse always clown around. Wait, I meant Jesse always clowns around.  Here is Jesse and my sister/her aunt. Jesse said they danced till midnight to a live band.

While Jesse and Mom were in West Texas having a ball, I decorated for the church youth banquet here in Duncan. It was an all day thang, but the decorations were beautiful.  Yep, I forgot my camera. Before the banquet, I met up with my Tutoree and curled her hair. We had lessons on posing for the camera, but she thought that was too silly.  This pic was taken with my phone. Here she is all decked out and beautiful.  Ah, to be sweet sixteen and have a brand new driver's license!

Jesse looked quite lovely in her dress. My niece was stunning in hers, but I did not get a full pic of either one. My Tutoree is gorgeous. She will be tickled that you mentioned her.

Looks like your daughter got stabbed by your sister and that star on the end of the magic wand (going by her expression) ha.

Ah great! Maybe some inspiration as you finish your painting. Imagining the dumb idiot sailor who left his true love behind :-)
