Webs We Weave

The other day a very tiny spider built an amazing web in the light fixture above the kitchen table. Jesse set her tea on the table and came back to find that the spider had commandeered  her tea bag for his own use. And yes, that is one of Jesse's mugs.  Eventually, as in the case of all bugs who come in my house and plan to stay, the spider died.

I'm generally a live-and-let-live kinda guy, as long as the critters stay in their space. But it's DEATH when they invade my space... no quarter.

EEEuuuuuu! When we lived over in the trees we had sooooo many spiders and webs. You would walk out the door and get a mouthfull/facefull of webs. They don't really scare me, just creep me out. Nice cup.

Little Charlotte was getting carried away with her web. She had to go.

I hear you on spider webs. When walking our trail around the pond, I often carry a big stick out in front of me to wipe away webs.
