My week has been filled with preparations for our trip to Ecuador. We are pretty hyped about it. We have been listening to Spanish cd's to better our communication skills. My brain needed the workout. I have continued my body workouts, too, so that I will be able to keep up with everyone. This morning it was about 75 outside with ridiculously high humidity. It is suppose to be in the high 90's today and hotter later this week. When I tell people that we are going to Ecuador, they always say, "Oh, I bet it is going to be really hot there." Oh really! And it is not hot here? The websites on Ecuador say to pack a light sweater. I can't wait.
Last night Toby took me to see "The Lone Ranger." I really liked it, but then I like Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer. Together they were fun. This summer I have seen "Iron Man3," "Man of Steel," "Star Trek," and now "The Lone Ranger." I am about heroed up. There is something I love about sitting in a cool, dark theater in the summertime and then coming out into the warm night air. When Bo was a baby, we would put the lawn chairs and playpen in the back of the truck and go to the drive-in to see summer movies. Those were the days!

I could use a lil bit o' sweater-weather, too. It's been uncharacteristically humid here, as well. I suppose that's the price ya pay when ya get a lot o' rain.
The rain has been good here. I can't complain. Well, maybe a little bit with all the humidity.
Buen viaje!
Muchas gracias, senor.
