Painting of the Week

The ladies at our church have a dinner once a month to celebrate birthdays in that month. Monday night was the October dinner. Presents are not given, but special boxes are put out so that you can give encouraging cards to each birthday girl. I painted seven little cards on Monday afternoon for the ladies. Since it was the only painting I did this week, they will have to do for my PoW. They are loosely painted poppies on Yupo paper, and they were fun to do. I tried one tulip card, but did not like the results and stuck with the poppies. Sorry about the photo quality.

I didn't see anything wrong with the photo, Lou...quality looked fine to me!

Buck, you are up early this morning. It was not so much the photo quality as the placement and crooked cards I laid out - not very professional, but okay.

The poppies are very nice. The tulips look great in the larger photo. Nice work, and a nice thing to do.
