Here are two of the paintings that I did for Soldiers' Angels. I have not heard anything on the card contest, but I decided to go ahead and post my paintings. It took me a while to upload these two. Both of these paintings were from photos on Jake Woods blog. Jake gave me permission to use the photos. He has many other photos that are amazing - I may have to use more of his photos. The top painting is a bit larger (9x11), but the second painting is card size (4x6). I would really like to do the second painting again only much larger this time. The light and the subject are just awesome.I am headed to WF to see Mom today. I will post the other two paintings later.

Both winners -- that second one very moving. I can almost feel the propwash of the helicopter.
