Withdrawls

It has been almost a week, and I still do not have internet. I do have electricity. Many of my friends in Duncan and Marlow are still without any power - many will be without water soon, too. I should not complain about my lack of internet, but I do miss you so! Since I am borrowing a friends computer, I cannot stay long. Maybe I will go home and my internet will be on - or not.

All is well at the Lazy B, and it is warming up a bit. I am also missing the sunshine. Someone please bring me sunshine.

Aiiieee. I hope I never have to go through an extended 'net outage. The most mine has been down over the course of the last six or seven years is perhaps ten hours. But then again, I think back to the year I spent on the road where the only 'net I had was "guest connections" in various RV parks and such and remember I survived quite well without it. But I had lotsa other stuff to amuse me.

Our weather sucks, too. The bad news is it rained and snowed all day, with more of the same forecast for tomorrow. The badder news is it's headed your way.

veriword: interi. Not sure, but I think it's Latin for "bury."

I think the sun is just gone. Like the blonde joke I got yesterday where the blonde was planning on being the first to person to go to the "sun"...she was going at night...

Been there several times when we lived in Kansas. Lots of ice storms there and we had big trees - lethal combination. The longest we went without power was ten days. It was a nightmare. I hope you get your internet back soon, Lou - it is amazing how it ties us to the world, isn't it?

I'm so sorry for you folks up north. I complain of the 30 degree nights and 50 degree days. Sorry. Looks like more coming. We have had rain and stuck in the house because of that. Sigh...... You do have good stories from it! :)

I think rain is much messier and depressing than snow!
