We are not planners in this family. I've mentioned it before; we are wingers. If something takes much planning and decision making, we are doomed. Yesterday was a doomed day. For most of the day, we thought, planned, re-thunk, tossed around, decided, and changed our minds about a trip to Austin. There were lots of reasons to go and lots of reasons to not. In our younger days, we would have just gone and not thought much about the reasons to stay put. After the all day debate, we decided to be old fogies. Jesse, being young, decided to go. What the hell is usually the best decision. I hope she has a fun time.
It is raining here today (part of the decision not to go). We need the rain. It makes me sleepy, though. I'm headed to town to run errands, have lunch with Toby, and pick up my GGs for American Sign Language class. Maybe we will find some free cats somewhere along the way. Yeah, I can still change it up a bit. Maybe Toby will take me to a Red Hawks game this weekend. And there is the art festival in Lawton. Of course there is tile work in the bathroom.
Isn't it Mother's Day this weekend?

I'll be working this weekend.
Happy Mother's Day to you, Becky.
It rained here yesterday, too... a lot for P-Ville. I spent most of the day on the couch because of it.
Happy Mom's Day! (Tomorrow, of course.)
Thanks Buck. I'm hoping for sunshine, although I don't mind the rain.
Yes, it is, Lou! Happy Mother's Day, my friend!
Hope it is a grand one for you!
Yes it was, and I hope it was grand!
