Ketchup.

All is well at the Lazy B, if you are wondering what has happened to my blogging.  There are several reasons that I have not posted, and all are just excuses.  Although I have been busy, I could find time to blog, but...excuses. Most of my blogging is done early in the morning after Toby leaves for work, but things have changed.  On MWF, I have been going to exercise at 7 AM with some neighbors.  When I get home, it is a hurry-up and clean-up and get to town for tutoring.  When I get home and read through all my favorite blogs and make a few comments, I have not wanted to post.  This is the Lazy B, ya know.

Also, my world is centered around this puppy lately.  I could write and tell you how cute he is and how much I am enjoying him, but it sounds a bit mushy even to me.  Toby says I am spoiling the dog rotten - you bet!  He is a very smart puppy.  His training is going well.  He definitely has a different personality from Zoe.  He is more aggressive and feisty.  He chews on everything, but mostly my fingers and toes.  He plays hard and then falls asleep - like a baby.  I do get up with him at night, but he is beginning to sleep through the night.  Last night when he got tired around 10 PM, he walked over and got in his crate without any assistance.  He slept until the alarm went off this morning.  I think I luv him.

Yesterday I took Mom to the dentist in WF.  I stayed there all day running errands and dealing with Mom thangs. We had a good day.  I took Max with me - Mom loves puppies too.  Today I have spent a large part of the morning on the phone with insurance companies - something I hate to do, but there is no way Mom could deal with automated phones, pushing buttons, remembering numbers, finding ID numbers, etc.  Automated phone stuff is crap. Just think of all the people that could be employed if companies went back to using real people. Na, never mind, the companies would probably hire foreigners.

Although I was planning on writing a real post and not just an update, I have run out of time.  Gotta run.

This is, perhaps, my BIGGEST complaint about our Brave New Techie World. You'd THINK companies would "geddit," what with the reams and reams of bitchez, moans, and complaints on this subject on these here inner'tubes. But... noooo.

I used to have this cheat sheet with codes that would connect ya to a real live human on various companies IVR systems. But I lost it sumwhere in the way-back. I sense a Google-odyssey comin' on...

I struggled through lots of messages today. There is no way Mom could have done that. It really irked me that the contact info on the website said, "to speak with a representative call..." and then I got automation.

Yeah, I got an automated phone system to try to diagnose my problem with my internet. That went over well.

My little internet provider is so po-dunk, that the guy who does the installations and services lives pretty close. No automation there other than the bad music when they put you on hold.

When we go our airedale the owner said to give him cold carrots to chew on. 'Course the carrots were bigger in Bolivia. It worked, no chewing on shoes and such. He did become addicted to carrots and would almost turn flips when you asked him if he wanted a carrot. Funny to see as he grew up.

Phoning businesses is such a pain. Feel for you......

I have heard of feeding dogs carrots, but it has not worked with our older dogs. I will try with the puppy.
