Senior Show

Jesse's senior art show is up at the Juanita Harvey Gallery in the Art Department of Midwestern State University. The show will be up Sept 1st - 30th with the actual opening/party from 6-8 PM on the 19th. Everyone is welcome to see the show and enjoy the party.  Jesse, along with two other seniors, will show their stuff. The show coincides with the regular fall show and will have other student's work also. Lots to see! Here is Jesse's invitation.

She has lots of other ceramics and prints and paintings. All are for sale.

Pretty artistic bunch! I also like Collins grog service. More RUM! I think you said daughter still has some teaching requirements, so I hope she enjoys that experience. I do a little volunteer work teaching, but I'm just a cat herder and cheerleader mostly, as I find I wear out easily, ha...

Teaching is a rough business, but some people do very well. Cat herders are helpful.

I did a little bit of google street view around the campus, before my t-mobile connection froze-up (it doesn't like google). I was surprised it looked very nice, with trees even. Looks very modern! I was never a star student until I got to high school and metal-shop/welding etc. If you give me a sheet of aluminum and a wood hammer you can keep me out of trouble all day :-)

You would love the metal-shop/sculpture department at MSU. Jesse learned to weld and put together some pretty cool objects. The spinning car (visiting artist) we saw last year at the art show was really cool.
